The Karimjee Foundation was proud to sponsor the launch of Dr. Salim Ahmed Salim’s Special Exhibition, held at the National Museum of Tanzania in commemoration of Africa Day.
Developed in partnership with the National Museum of Tanzania, the temporary exhibition forms part of the wider Salim Ahmed Salim Digital Archive initiative, which seeks to preserve and share the legacy of one of Tanzania and Africa’s most respected leaders. The exhibition gives the public an opportunity to engage with Dr. Salim’s remarkable journey in leadership, diplomacy, public service, and continental development.
Dr. Salim Ahmed Salim’s legacy continues to hold great significance for Tanzania, Africa, and the wider international community. Through this exhibition, important moments from his life and service are presented in a public and accessible space, with a particular focus on inspiring younger Tanzanians and Africans interested in leadership, history, and diplomacy.
For the Karimjee Foundation, supporting this initiative aligns strongly with its commitment to Tanzania’s cultural, educational, and philanthropic development. Having served communities for 16 years, the Foundation continues to support initiatives that preserve heritage, promote learning, and contribute positively to society.
The Karimjee Foundation is honoured to have contributed to an exhibition that celebrates African leadership, protects historical memory, and inspires future generations.
