Karimjee Foundation Eligibility Criteria for Applicants Seeking Scholarships

Karimjee Foundation is committed to creating a bright future for young Tanzanians through education and empowerment. The Foundation’s vision is to develop the next generation of leaders, change-makers and innovators who have the potential to change Tanzania and the world.

Our Scholarship Programme is the core initiative of the Karimjee Foundation. Since 2009, it has made a tangible difference in the lives of many young Tanzanians.

Each year, Karimjee Foundation awards scholarships to Tanzanian citizens to pursue degrees in Tanzania. Scholarships are granted to students who have achieved outstanding academic results in their previous studies and do not have the means to pay for their higher education. Priority is given to female applicants and people living with disabilities. The field of study must demonstrate a socio-economic benefit to Tanzania.
